Hospitals
In Bihar we support hospitals large and small who are trying to eradicate blindness. The work is being pushed forward most dramatically by the Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospitals at Mastichak, Siwan and Danapur with whom we work very closely.
In Orissa, the TN team is still the only ophthalmic team that is ready to go in consistently to western, tribal Orissa where blindness is a huge problem. Seeing is Believing…so watch the videos from the field. They will convey more to you than hundreds of words.

Since 2001, our experienced volunteer eye surgeons have carried out surgery, training, and shared clinical knowledge with Indian ophthalmic teams.
Over 150,000 men women and children have had their sight restored by our volunteer eye surgeons and our Indian colleagues. These people would still be blind now were it not for our partner hospitals who offer the only service available to the poor in each of their areas.
