2007-Silverstone half marathon
In 2007, Second Sight runners Mark Rees, Sofia Larruna-Craxton and Ollie Craxton raised money by completing the Silverstone Half-Marathon. Mark went on to run the London Marathon with Lucy. The running 'team' raised over £6,000 for Second Sight.
2005-London Marathon
Lucy, John and Vix (Victoria Watts) together raised nearly £10,000 for Second Sight!
2003/2004-London Marathons
Surgeon John Brookes ran for Second Sight in 2004.
Lucy Mathen ran in 2003.
Both John and Lucy were first-time marathoners.
