Swimming the Bosphorus

Two hundred years after Lord Byron made his 4.5km open water tide assisted swim across the Bosphorus, Second Sught surgeon Helen Murgatroyd and her husband Andy did the same. The busy shipping lane is suspended for 90 minutes while the swim takes place. Helen and Andy raised over £4,000 for Second Sight!
